Frequently Asked Questions - Groups
What will my group do?
Each group is unique but will involve connection, real talk, and learning to trust Jesus together. Groups study the Bible together, but this can look different in each season. Some read devotionals, study actual books of the Bible, or engage with different topics in the Scriptures. Your group will also pray together and serve people in your community. You’ll be building authentic community and friendships as you discover, develop, and deepen your relationship with Jesus.
Where do groups meet?
Most groups meet in homes.
Is childcare available?
RockPoint doesn’t offer childcare for groups. If needed, we will reimburse a portion of your childcare cost for group nights. Your leader can give you more information.
How often do groups meet?
Groups meet on different days and times throughout the week. Some meet every week and some meet every other week.
When can I get into a group?
Registration for our next round of groups will begin in February 2023.
Why do we launch groups only twice a year?
We strategically launch groups twice a year; in September and then again in February. We’ve found that deeper connection is formed when everyone starts together in a group at the same time. We understand this is inconvenient at times, but in the long run it’s a sacrifice we think is worth making. In the meantime, the simplest and easiest way to get connected and meet other people is to serve on one of our teams. Please go to rockpointcc.org/serve and we’ll connect you as best as we can.
