May 2025
HARDY ELEMENTARY
May was a busy month at Hardy. We were excited to be able to help in several ways:
ATCM
BLUE MONARCH
FIRST THINGS FIRST
While Lecrae was in town for JFest, he went out of his way to meet the graduates of First Things First (FTF) Dad’s Making a Difference program. In 2024 he fell in love with the program after visiting and performing FTF’s Signature event. This was a time where Lecrae, a dad who grew up without a father, could share and encourage the dads in front of him.
May was a busy month at Hardy. We were excited to be able to help in several ways:
- We were able to help provide a very special staff appreciation week to the hardworking team at Hardy. We provided decorations, lunch meals for two days of the week, and a popcorn/dirty soda bar for them. We were able to visit and help serve meals to this very dedicated team at Hardy.
- During the TCAP testing this year, we were able to help provide student incentives by renting a “wacky water station” for the kids to enjoy and take a break from their hard work.
- Love Chattanooga volunteers attended the Hardy Field Day and were able to serve in various activities and areas to make the day special for all.
ATCM
- Through your giving we were able to support the Adult & Teen Challenge Spring Dinner Event. This year's event was to celebrate a new initiative to reach those formerly disqualified from admission due to a pre-existing mental health diagnosis. Several members of our small groups that actively volunteer at ATCM were able to join the event at our sponsored table.
BLUE MONARCH
- We are excited to be able to help make summers special for the kids at Blue Monarch by providing help in allowing them to attend summer camps and receive swim lessons.
- We also congratulate the newest graduates from the program! We were able to help provide each new graduate of the program with a new laptop and case as they start their new adventures.
- Through your generous offerings from the Love Chattanooga Boards, we were able to make a large delivery of diapers, medicines and other requests that were greatly appreciated.
