Let the countdown to middle school BEGIN!

Each year during the UpStreet Bucket List Challenge, our 5th graders count down their final 12-weeks of elementary school together in UpStreet! Over the course of these twelve weeks, 5th graders will have the opportunity to complete an UpStreet Bucket List. The more things they check off and accomplish off the list, the more prizes they win! From special Sunday events, to large group games, to parties...kids will not only have a blast connecting with their friends and leaders, but will learn some foundational truths along the way.

Kick-Off Lunch

--Sunday, February 22nd--
Parents & 5th graders enjoy lunch with RP's Student Team & Children's Director, followed by a time of hearing all about the UpStreet Bucket List Challenge.

Skating Party

-- Sunday, March 8th --
As a way to build community with each other through a shared, fun experience, 5th graders will have their own skating party after church. They will skate, play, and hang out with their friends and leaders!

Intentional Sunday Content

Each week, there will be intentional, gospel-centered message content for our 5th graders. They will unpack big questions like: What is faith? What do I believe? How do I share that with others? We will look at the life of Jesus and study Scripture together to explore some big truths before sending them off to middle school.

Build Community

During the Bucket List Challenge, kids will be combined as one small group at the 11:15am service time beginning. This is to allow there to be connections made among all 5th graders before entering into the Student environment.

Outdoor Hangout & Bonfire

-- Saturday, May 2nd --
Another fun way for our 5th graders and their new leaders to connect will be at our Outdoor Hangout where they will eat, hike and enjoy some time around a bonfire together during the countdown. Registration opens in April.

Test Drive

--Sunday, May 17th --
All 5th graders and parents "test drive" an
RP Student service at 11:15am. Experience
life as a middle schooler and see what a full Student service is like at this special event.
Registration opens in May.
